I know what I'm going to be doing this weekend when I have some time off of work. Trying to do all these hairstyles I've been looking up. My hair isn't super long since I've only been growing it out since last year, so who knows how it will turn out. Thanks for uploading these. Maybe now I'll be able to do something with my hair other than brush and go. :p My friends at church will be so impressed if I'm able to pull it off.

Ok, A) I love these hair videos, they have restored lost inspiration to do anything but a bun or braid, and B) I have seen all the bickering about religion and hair and I want to say that, as a pentecostal, it isn't so much about following God's rules, but about us wanting to show to the world that we love the body that God has given us, so why do we need makeup or jewlery? Not cutting hair or wearing pants, is more about having a symbol to show everyone our relationship and submission to God.

this is so PRETTY...and its the first updo video i've been able to follow and DO!!!! even though my hair is only a little past elbow length...all other videos i look at involve curling or a lot of teasing...this is simple and i dont have to fry my hait to do it

@AirBRanger oil your hair and scalp thouroughly and leavy it for a few hours...the more hours the better...and then wash it like you normall would...thats how brown ppl keep their hair so good...and keep it braided unless you need to do something with it...braiding protects it frm damage

One Church, many members. All are branches of the same Body, but, insofar as doctrine strays from what was originally taught, the Body is weakened, and in some cases withers and dies from lack of nourishment.

@redstatein08 But us Apostolic believe pretty much the same as Pentecostals. In fact, a lot of us call ourselves Pentecostal Apostolic. Us Apostolics simply believe in what the Apostles preached. Including the day of Pentecost. It's almost the exact same thing.

@DiyaBabyee It may look like it, but it's not hurting her hair. I'm not apostolic, but my daughter has waist length hair and I always put a LOT of hairspray in it when I'm fixing it in cute styles. The only way to get hair like this to stay in place is to use tons of hairspray. And for what it's worth, my daughter has gorgeous hair - not unhealthy or damaged at all. The little girl in this video has beautiful hair too.

@DiyaBabyee LOL if that were true, none of our girls would have floor length hair like they do! My own daughter had hair nearly to the knees by high school and she used TONS of products on it.. (and I used to tell her it was bad for her hair all the time too!) but her hair was never cut and never was damaged despite all the abuse she put it through.

you also dont see many girls with this long of hair. most of the girls that wear these styles have hair up to their waist and even up to their bottoms. some of these hairstyles you cannot do with medium length hair.
