Not to start a back and forth, that is not exactly true. I've been directing for over 35 years. "35 years." This song is not new. It may be older than you, I don't know. I conduct workshops on directing. I was trained by some of gospel's best, Rev. Cleveland, Min. Keith Pringle, and Dr. Mattie Moss Clark. This gentlemen has no directing control. Also, I, too am Apostolic. So, I'm not so inclined to appreicate your last comment. But that is not the point.

You cant direct this song with "directing discipline." I have always been taught to direct the way the song sounds. If the song is intense then you should direct as such. If the choir is singing aggressively then he should be "all over the place." Besides they are Apostolic. They are going to be all over the place anyway.

The choir is very good. The director is entertaining. I'm sure he was exhausted after the concert. I've directed choirs for over over 35 years. He is all over the place. My mentor would say this director is out of control and has no directing discipline. All in all it was a good presentation.
