Your Videos are great! I am a free holiness girl... that doesn't do hair very well your videos have helped me. Gave my life to the lord 15 years ago! ahhh can't wait til my hair grows to do this! thanks for the tips! I have one for you tho, if you want to not cut the ends or have split ones i saw when you strightened the ends really fast. be gentle, Dont hold the iron so tight or it pulls and rips, splitting your ends! :) and you can always do a one part vinegar 4parts water rinse before you have a shower every once in awhile to remove hairspray buildup. I just joined the church so its great to have some hairstyles to look forward to!

Have you ever been on the Long hair community? I gather your hair is going to be long forever, I recommend you going to that site for some tips. You are so rough with your hair, and do so many things that would make us longhairs go EEK! Your hair is quite damaged, and I think you'd get a lot of long hair tips/style ideas from there. No offense intended. I am a long hair myself, and love long hair, I just think if you're going to have it you should take care of it.

@SaraSaint82 I just use a clarifying shampoo like suave's, and then I add a dime-size amount of baking soda to it, and it takes the gunk out very well. I shampoo again with my normal shampoo, and then condition. I comb the conditioner through in the shower with a wide-tooth comb. I don't brush it before I wash it when it's super gunky like that...

It's more expensive, but if you use quality hair products, then your hair will be a lot healthier and not oily/ frizzy. Tressa is VERY good i can tell a diff in my hair

My hair is a little bit longer than gossgirl's, and I use a lot of hairspray too but my hair is not real bad oily. I have had problems with it, but I find it's best to take it down at night and brush through it very well before any attempts at washing. Also I use a super cheap Suave Kids Detangler that seems to work great for after you wash it. You might want to try something like that or a leave in conditioner. I love these videos though. Please keep them coming!!!

My hair is longer I want it longer but I have used hairspray in the past kept it for like two days I would not advise that I washed it out and it took me two times. Thats why I don't use hairspray. I love these hair dos the only thing I do to mine is pull it back ugh I need to get all crazy with it. I'm pentecostal and when you go dancing in the spirit their aint enough hair spray in the world to keep your hair down bobby pins end up getting found when we clean the church.

Hi.. very cute side bun! I have a question hope you can give me advice. I've been in church a few yrs..so my hair isn't incredibly long..but my problem is after I make a hairdo w/ a lot of hairspray, it is an absolute nightmare afterwards. How do you deal with the aftermath from using all that hairspray? Do you brush your hair out before you get it wet or do you just wet it without brushing it out and then detangle in the shower? Please let me know how you deal with it! Anything would help!

I know..I tend to agree with you, BUT there is a theological controversy regarding that. The Bible says that it is our glory and that we should cover our hair when we pray. Thus the Catholic and Amish head coverings.(Amish wear it all the time bc the Bible says to pray all the time not just churhc) The original word in Greek means "veil" That word in Greek could mean two different things..a head covering with hair or something else. :) My dad is a Bible and greek professor. lol.

In Corinthians 11:6, where it talks about the long hair issue, it also "commands" women to wear a head covering as well, such as the amish and muslims do, where is your head covering? Question... Why do apostolic women wear their hair so big. I'm not being mean in anyway just curious? I work at an apostolic daycare and never really understood the big poofs and what not. Is that just a preference?
